Requirements
For Bannerlord single-player with Native, SandBoxCore, and Sandbox enabled. Requires Harmony, ButterLib, UIExtenderEx, and Mod Configuration Menu, enabled before Marriage Lineage.
Steam installation
- Subscribe to Marriage Lineage on Steam Workshop and install its required mods.
- Launch Bannerlord and open Singleplayer → Mods.
- Enable the requirements before [WPS] Marriage Lineage, then start or load a campaign.
Choose your family’s lineage
Use the MCM settings to choose rules for player marriages and the weighting of computer-controlled marriages.
Matrilineal marriages can have the husband join the wife’s clan. Children can follow the marriage type, the father’s clan, or the mother’s clan. Marriage lineage choices are kept through saving and loading.
Other marriage and clan mods
Mods that change marriage, clans, or children’s lineage may overlap. For help, use the Steam Workshop page and include your game and mod versions, active mods, and the marriage or birth where the result differed from your settings.
