Skip Intro

Before you install

Version 1.0.2 is available on Nexus Mods and Steam Workshop. This is a Bannerlord singleplayer startup mod. Install and enable Harmony and the base game's Native module before Skip Intro.

Installation

1. Install Harmony, then download Skip Intro from Nexus Mods or subscribe on Steam Workshop.
2. For a manual installation, extract the WPS_SkipIntro folder into Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\.
3. In the Bannerlord launcher, open Singleplayer → Mods. Enable Harmony and WPS Skip Intro, with Harmony loading first.
4. Start the game normally. After the game finishes loading, the startup video is skipped and the main menu opens.

Using Skip Intro

There are no settings to configure. Skip Intro works on each launch while it is enabled. It changes the startup video and leaves campaign gameplay unchanged.

When updating, close the game and launcher, replace the old module folder with the current release, then reopen the launcher.

Compatibility and removal

Skip Intro can be added to or removed from an existing campaign; it does not store campaign data. Other mods that change the intro or startup sequence may overlap.

To remove it, close Bannerlord, disable Skip Intro in the launcher, then remove the manually installed WPS_SkipIntro folder or unsubscribe on Steam. The intro returns on the next launch.

If the intro still plays

1. Confirm both Harmony and Skip Intro are enabled, with Harmony loading first.
2. For manual installs, check that WPS_SkipIntro is directly inside Modules rather than inside an extra folder.
3. Fully exit and restart the game. If another intro or startup mod is enabled, try running with that mod disabled.
4. If the problem continues, report your Bannerlord, Harmony and Skip Intro versions, your mod list, and what happens during startup on the mod's official page.
