Player guide

Install, configure, and troubleshoot WPS Level Up Points Configured.

Use the sections below for setup, requirements, settings, compatibility, removal, and troubleshooting.

Overview

WPS Level Up Points Configured is a lightweight Bannerlord module for configuring the points awarded when a character levels.

Version 1.0.1 targets Bannerlord base-game modules at v1.4.5 and lists Bannerlord.MBOptionScreen v5.11.4 as optional.

Configuration

  • Install the optional Bannerlord.MBOptionScreen dependency to use the in-game Mod Configuration Menu for WPS Level Up Points Configured.
  • Open Mod Options in game to see the labels, ranges, and defaults included with your installed version.
  • After changing a setting, confirm the result on a new level-up before applying the same configuration to a long-running campaign.

Requirements

  • Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord with Native v1.4.5.
  • SandBoxCore v1.4.5.
  • Sandbox v1.4.5.
  • Version 1.0.1 targets Bannerlord 1.4.5; later game versions may require a compatibility update.

Optional Dependencies

  • Bannerlord.MBOptionScreen v5.11.4 provides the Mod Configuration Menu interface.
  • It is listed as optional in the module's public documentation; match the dependency version to the installed mod release.

Installation

  1. Download the latest archive.
  2. Extract the WPS Level Up Points module folder into Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\.
  3. Enable Native, SandBoxCore, Sandbox, and WPS Level Up Points Configured in the Bannerlord launcher.
  4. If using the settings interface, install and enable Bannerlord.MBOptionScreen v5.11.4 before the WPS module.
  5. Start or load a campaign, then review the installed module's settings before the next level-up.

Compatibility and Version Scope

  • Version 1.0.1 updated the package manifest for Bannerlord v1.4.5 and the dependency versions listed above.
  • The release does not list broader game-version support, multiplayer support, save migration behavior, a fixed point-category list, or numeric setting ranges outside the in-game Mod Options screen.
  • Back up important saves before changing gameplay progression settings or the active module list.

Troubleshooting

If the mod is disabled in the launcher, confirm Native, SandBoxCore, and Sandbox all report v1.4.5 and are enabled.

If the configuration page is absent, confirm Bannerlord.MBOptionScreen v5.11.4 is installed, enabled, and loaded before WPS Level Up Points Configured.

If a setting appears not to apply, verify the value in the installed module's menu and test it on a new level-up; do not assume an already-completed level-up will be recalculated.

When reporting a reproducible issue on the mod's Nexus page, include the Bannerlord module versions, MCM version, chosen setting, observed award, and a complete mod list.

Changelog

  • Version 1.0.1: updates the package manifest to match Bannerlord v1.4.5 and the current dependency versions.
